Can I take out my cartilage piercing after 4 weeks?

I recently got my cartilage pierced and for the past couple of cheer practices my coach wouldnt allow me or another girl with a cartilage piercing(she can't take hers out either) practice cause she says she's risking her job if she does. So now we are on a two week break and when we come back it will be 4 weeks so will I be able to take out my piercing for the practice if i continue to pierce through the hole
