Is he self-absorbed, or has he just lost interest?

I've been with my boyfriend 3 months. Right after we started dating he had an accident and is still recovering from multiple broken bones. When he was in the hospital and i visited him a lot he always told me how much he liked me, and thanked me for being there, complimented my clothes and was really nice in general, and made me feel appreciated. However since being home for the past 2 months he's really not like that anymore. We spend a lot time together -we can't have sex because of his injuries--but he never kisses me or tells me nice things. it's almost as if we skipped the "honeymoon" phase of our relationship. He can't go buy me gifts or take me anywhere because he can't drive due to to his injuries, but he can do everything else. We seem to just talk about him and his condition, and he seems to just ask me how my day was out of politeness or habit. I can't tell if this is the way he is and he's not a mushy overly-affectionate guy, if he's just like this because of his injuries, or if he just doesn't like me enough to feel the urge to do nice things for me. His accident has been hard on me too, because I drive him around, cook for him and help him in every way,and being so supportive has been emotionally draining. He says thank you for the specific things i do for him as a caregiver, but I feel like he doesn't really acknowledge or appreciate me as a dedicated girlfriend. People keep telling me that it's because he's injured, but as he is getting better, this situation isn't changing.

What can I do about a former caregiver?

This caregiver I'll call CARRIE was terminated from me because she wanted to involve me in some illegal acts of fraud ; using someone else food stamps (which I don't use), sign time sheet with rubber stamp (Medicaid wants actual signature) she claims Medicaid allows signature stamp. I fired her Wed. before she got here asked her not to come, she told her employer she needed my signature for Wed because she was here and I didn't sign, I called the employer that wednesday and told him to tell not to come....in short everything she does is fraud plus she has a felony...any ideas

Am I required to pay my day care two weeks' severance?

Did you sign a contract with her? If so, what does the contract say regarding notice that is to be given? Whatever you agreed to....is the rule.

How old do you got to be to be a caregiver in Michigan?

I'm 19 now and I tried visiting sites but don't give me a straight answer. I want to do it through college because it would help me out a get deal to be able to focus on college more rather then having to have a job. I'm getting my Med card pretty soon to I don't know if that would help my case out or not.

Sharp pain at 5 weeks pregnant?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I had sharp pains shot right threw the middle of my lower abdominal area is this normal or am i having a miscarriage? I'm pretty scared about the miscarriage risk in early pregnancy

When should I ask a professor for a recommendation letter?

Wait until you need the letter (but ask at least a month before you need it) and keep in touch with her - stop by her office and talk once in a while. Ask about careers in the field if nothing else, and her research.

I feel like everything is spiraling out of control!?

If all you ever look at is the trail you are on how can you focus on your destination. The degree you are working on will eventually get that better paycheck you seek. In the meantime it's tough getting by on what you get now. Food stamps were designed folks like you who are working hard for a better future. Better you than the guy who wants to sell me his food stamps for .50 on the $ so he can buy cigs or beer. If you are doing fine now hen exceptr the help you have, food stamps, and be patient. You are working to better yourself and your lives. May I suggest you cut way back on your news watching, focus on your studies, family and an increase in your patience. It sounds as if you are on the right track, you just need the patience to finish the job. Keep up the good work and study hard and you will get there.
